Robert N. Clinton did his undergraduate work at the University of Michigan and attended the University of Chicago Law School. Professor Clinton serves as the Foundation Professor of Law at Arizona State University College of Law and as an Affiliated Faculty member of the ASU American Indian Studies Program. He also serves as the Chief Justice of the Winnebago Supreme Court, as an Associate Justice of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal Court of Appeals, the Colorado River Indian Tribes Court of Appeals and the Hualapai Court of Appeals and as a temporary judge for other tribes. He teaches and writes about federal Indian law, tribal law, and Native American history, constitutional law, federal courts, civil procedure, cyberspace law, and copyrights.
